Abstract	The article deals with theoretical questions of the actual directions of general social and special-criminological prevention of corruption in Ukraine. It is proposed to introduce a system for monitoring the effectiveness of anti-corruption legislation and ensuring its implementation. It is advisable to take a number of measures, in particular: in the field of improving the legislation on the unlawfulness of corruption offences; in the field of criminal justice; in the field of improvement of the legislation regulating the organization and functioning of specially authorized bodies, which carry out counteraction to corruption offences and in the field of improvement of legislation regulating the functioning of the units on the prevention and detection of corruption of central and local executive authorities.
